In this episode with Naseer Aarafat talks to Palestinakomiteen i Stavanger about the handcrafted gift that the delegation from Nablus presented to the city of Stavanger during the 900th jubilee of the western based city in Norway.Naseer Arafat was a part of the delegation from Nablus visiting its sister-city during the 900th year jubilee of the city of Stavanger in June 2025. The artwork is made by artist Nisreen al-Barghouti and is inspired by the windows of the cathedral in Stavanger city centre, symbolising the deep connection and near 30 year long friendship history between the historic cites Nablus and Stavanger.Furthermore Arafat takes the opportunity to invite the museums in the Stavanger region to come to Palestine to learn more of its history and discuss the ways in which the museum sector in and around the two cities can strengthen their collaborate, learn each others histories history and exppand knowledge-making practices across different fields of expertise and industry development in and around the cities of Stavanger and Nablus through the ages.
